Charities that meet certain reliability requirements can be regarded by the Dutch tax authorities as a General Benefit Institution: in Dutch abbreviated ANBI.
Stichting Pioneers (formerly called Stichting Arabische Wereld Zending) is an ANBI. You can check this in the ANBI register of the Tax Authorities at https://www.belastingdienst.nl/wps/wcm/connect/nl/aftrek-en-kortingen/content/anbi-status-controleren.

If you are subject to Dutch tax law, ANBI gives tax benefits, such as:

| Purpose |
|
Stichting Pioneers brings the gospel to the unreached peoples worldwide, with a special focus on the Arab world. Organizationally Stichting Pioneers is part of mission organization Pioneers International.
Our two mobilisation offices Pioneers Nederland and Pioneers Europe, both based in the Netherlands , recruit and facilitate missionary sending of Dutch and European christians.

|
Foundation directors are unsalaried.
Office staff are unsalaried and obtain livelihood from supporters.
There are 2 exceptions to the above:
Financial administrator of Stichting Pioneers (0.6 FTE) is remunerated.
Director of Pioneers Nederland (0.6 FTE) is remunerated
.
Organization costs are 100% reimbursed. Missionaries are unsalaried and receive support from donors.

| Activity Report |

Prayer: No mission is without prayer. In addition to individual prayer, we participate in Pioneers monthly day of prayer. A prayer coordinator for our supporters is being sought.
Promotion: Each year the office releases 4 newsletters. Websites have been updated. Where possible promotional activities are set up. We participate in events with MissieNederland.
Guiding missionary sending: We intensively and individually coach candidates while they prepare to be sent.
Membercare: Although the team leader is first in line on the mission field, the gateway office is always on stand-by and helps where necessary. In addition, the home committee remains in close contact with the missionary on the field.
Fundraising: Stichting Pioneers is supported entirely by donations. 4 times per year donation requests are sent to supporters. We also receive periodic gifts and legacies. Donating via our websites is also possible.
Board/organization: The Board meets 4 times a year. After the organizational merger with Pioneers, Pioneers Nederland and Pioneers Europe are now built up further. There is daily contact with field leaders and the international office.
